Open Muni Budgets is a web app for visualizing and comparing budgetary data of municipalities in Israel. The project aims to promote budget accessibility transparency. Israelis can access information about how the budget is being spent in their municipalities.

The project was done in collaboration with HaSadna (the Public Knowledge Workshop), a non-profit organization in Israel dedicated to data transparency in government.

The budgetary data was provided by the HaSadna’s dedicated API. The user interaction was done with Angular and custom visualizations were created with D3.
